ICYMI: Cait Conley Outraises the Primary Field, Raising Over $525,000 in Q3 and Over $1.34 Million Total

Cait’s record-breaking fundraising and consistent lead since entering the race make her the clear choice to defeat Mike Lawler

OSSINING, NY – In case you missed it, Cait Conley — a 16-year Army combat veteran, national security leader, and fourth-generation Hudson Valley native — raised more than $525,000 in Q3, bringing her total to over $1.34 million this cycle with more than $950,000 cash on hand. Since entering the race, Cait has consistently outraised every candidate in the Democratic primary, proving she’s the strongest candidate to defeat Mike Lawler next November.

Cait’s Q3 haul builds on her strong Q2 and record-breaking Q1, when she set a record for the most raised in the first 24 hours by any first-time congressional candidate in NY-17. Cait has also secured major national endorsements, including VoteVets, The Next 50, New Politics, LPAC, Serve America, and Majority Democrats.

“I’m proud to have the support of thousands of people across this district, state, and country who know that the only way to build a better future for American families is to replace corrupt politicians with leaders of character and that starts with getting rid of Mike Lawler,” said Cait Conley. “Mike Lawler is a career politician whose loyalty is to his own political ambition, and the Hudson Valley has paid the price. I was raised in a working-class family here in the Hudson Valley, so I know firsthand the struggles we face every day. And as a 16-year combat veteran who hunted down the world’s deadliest terrorists, I also know what it means to fight for something bigger than myself. Mike Lawler has faced other politicians before, but he’s never faced someone like me. Change is coming.”

About Cait Conley:

Cait Conley is a fourth-generation Hudson Valley native and the daughter of a postal worker and a construction worker. She is a decorated combat veteran and national security expert who has spent her life answering the call to serve. That call began on 9/11, when, as a junior in high school, she watched the Twin Towers fall. The next day, she started the process for applying to West Point — earning acceptance and becoming the first in her family to graduate college and then going on later to attend graduate programs at Harvard and MIT. Cait served 16 years as an active duty Army officer, deploying six times to take down the world’s most dangerous terrorists, and later led counterterrorism efforts on the National Security Council and at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Throughout her career, Cait has been called upon to solve the toughest problems and fix things that are broken. That’s why Cait is running for Congress — to fix a broken system and fight for a better future for New Yorkers.
